"Redeeming the Moments"

Everyone wants a revolution. No one wants to do the dishes.

Time, it turns out, is made up of lots of little moments, one
running right into another. If, as we profess, we want to serve
Christ with our lives, we must be able to do so not only in the
major events, but in the small, everyday moments, no matter
how mundane.

Kerri (and Wendy)

“Some days are really precious and some days are horrible and really really really long. But mostly, I’m learning to be patient, be grateful for the time I have and to rely on God’s grace – sufficient for me.”

Rachel (and Chad)

“When I sit at the piano, even for just five minutes, deadlines and worry are suspended. This is a time to remember my unencumbered self, and to get up from the bench refreshed and at rest, having met Christ and received his peace.”

Greg

“Being out here is like worship; it makes me happy to serve my church – and even more, God – with the gifts He gave me.”

Randall

“On a good drive, I can clear my head and put it into Someone Else’s.”

Mark (and Karen)

“Gardening is what God called Adam and Eve to do. I want to follow that calling and practice what I preach.”

Greta

Greta asked me to come take pictures of her healing. I went and took pictures of her living.

“For me, redeeming the time is creating space and time in my life to love and give to my family.”

Katrina

At first, I only took pictures of Katrina’s friendship bracelet making for her benefit. But then I fell in love…

“If I’m thinking about God when I’m making my bracelet, then I’ll think of Him when I’m looking at it.”

Michelle

“I love the feeling of a clean kitchen. God is about making all things new and clean. Even dishes.”
